Entry #8. Dark Soul 3 and the End
As the series of shows and games go on, they eventually end someday. It has to; all good things must end, no matter how much you don't want them to. In this blog, I'll discuss Dark Soul 3, the game that ended the Dark Soul series. It's not only how that game ended the Dark Soul series but also how it represents the end.

Dark Souls represents the end of all things in a way. From the first and second Dark Souls games, they always end with starting a new age. To summarize, Dark Souls is a game where the main character tries to light a new fire to start a new age. To achieve this, you fight all kinds of bosses. The series is known for its challenging bosses. Dark Souls 3 ends the series in a way that many say represents the end of everything. Your character lights the fire, but not in the same way as before. The fire is small and powerful, just like in the first game. It's a little sad fire that the character stares at for a bit before sitting down to keep it lit. The camera zooms out to show the dead world around the character. It's clear that the world is long gone; the fire isn't burning. While this may seem like a sad ending to the series, it's just the end. It's well-discovered, and there won't be a Dark Souls 4 or prequel. The world you have been trying to keep alive doesn't want to be alive. Instead, it was already dead before you started the journey.

Dark Souls 3 concluded the series in a manner that surpassed expectations. It was not just an ending, but a grand finale. The game did not just drag the series to a conclusion; it put an end to it in a way that was well-deserved, peaceful, and satisfying. The game's conclusion was poignant and emotional, a tribute to the series. Although it was sad to say goodbye, many players were happy with the outcome. They knew that the series would remain a timeless classic among games. It is still being talked about to this day, years after its release, a testament to its greatness.
